It's time again for the Berntsen Library's Prize for Undergraduate Research. Every year we award $300 to a student who has produced an exemplary research paper, and this year it could be you! Take a look at this page for more details about how to qualify, enter, and more. While you're at it, take a look at one of our previous blogs for a closer look at what makes the prize such a great opportunity.
Here at the Berntsen Library, we strive to support all of our students in their research journeys. Information literacy is vital to us, and we love this prize because it gives us a close look at the research processes and habits of the students we're helping each day. The final product of the paper is important, but the winner of the prize is truly determined by who grasped the process of research and scholarship the most throughout the course of writing. When we see students digging into their scholarship and getting passionate about a topic, that's what gets us excited!
So, we hope you'll consider submitting your work to be considered for this prize. Submissions are due by midnight on April 18th! Take a look at the info page, and contact Jessica Moore with any questions.
