Printing & Technology

Two (2) multifunction printers are available on the main level of the library. ​Students may print using Northwestern Secure Print. Here’s how to print at the library.

Both printers offer black/white and color printing, scanning, and copying options. Note: the printers default to black/white.

 

Twelve (12) student lab workstations are available for use, and Wi-Fi and power outlets are available throughout the building. Computer accessories, including charging cables, are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

Alumni and Visitors may use workstations and print. Please obtain a guest login from staff at the Circulation Desk.

Study Aids, Equipment, & Supplies

The Berntsen Library provides a variety of study aids and equipment for student use while at the library. These items may be checked out at the Circulation Desk.

  • Phone chargers for Apple and Android
  • Computer charging cables for a variety of brands including Dell, HP, Lenovo and Apple
  • TI-84 Graphing calculators
  • Bookstands
  • Wired computer mouse
  • Headphones
  • Whiteboard markers
  • Space heaters & fans
  • Happy Light
     

Additionally, we keep some basic office supplies stocked for library users.

  • Paper clips
  • Staplers & hole punches
  • An assortment of pens or highlighters
  • Small selection of art supplies – crayons, markers, glue
  • Craft Kits (i.e., markers, crayons, colored pencils, glue, etc.) are available for a 3-day checkout
