New Study Spaces
New study spaces were added on the Main Level based on feedback from past LibQUAL surveys. Students desired more spaces for group study on the Main Level. The study space at the back of the Main Level and the space between reference and periodicals were created by reducing the footprint of the periodical stacks and reference stacks. The LibQUAL from 2024 results show improvement in the scores for LP-5 - "Community space for group learning and group study." (Every aspect of "Library as Place" has shown improvement in 2024's LibQUAL survey.)

Before we opened up the main floor to have more study space, the periodical stacks filled the back as shown in the photo below.
