Tips for searching for companies

For company background and news

In Business Source Premier
- Start with the "Company Profiles" button (top blue bar or center of page)
- Click on the title of the company instead of the report and you will get much more information including news
In Mergent Intellect
- Search for a company name and choose from the options
- Once you click on the company name, if there are news items, they will appear in a timeline.

In addition, from the home search screen, you can browse country reports, industry profiles, market research reports, and company profiles that include SWOT analyses and top competitors. Company types include public, private, U.S., and international.

This flexible application features a deep collection of private and public U.S and international business data, including facts and figures, executive contact information, the ability to access industry profiles, and competitor lists. This database combines information from a variety of well-established names within the business information universe including: Hoovers, Dun & Bradstreet, and Whitepages Pro.
