Education Literature Review

The general purpose of a literature review is to organize and critically analyze a portion of published research focused on a specific topic or issue that is relevant to your field.

Literature reviews are used to clarify

  • What information is already known?
  • What research has already been done?
  • What positions and perspectives are taken toward the topic or issue?  (Nelson, 2012)

Use the tabs at the side as a resource guide for researching your topic
