How may we access Reference Services? 

How do we get to the library’s online collections? 

  • Access the library’s online resources and services from the library’s home page. When asked to authenticate, enter your UNW network login and password as you would for accessing theROCK.

How do I get access to the library’s print collections or physical items coming from other libraries?  

  • As long as library staff have access to the building, we can provide scanning and mailing services for UNW print collections. 
  • To request an item from the UNW library, on the request form in CLICsearch and under the “pickup location,” choose the “personal delivery" option.  
  • The sharing of physical items from other libraries has been suspended until further notice.  

How do I renew or return physical items?

  • For students only - all checked out items have been renewed until May 15th. 
  • For the time being, please keep all checked-out items because staff are not on site to process returns. ​
  • If you want to see what is on your account, sign into CLICsearch and use My Account. For interlibrary loan materials, sign into ILLiad.  If you have account questions, contact the Library's Circulation Department at

How do I make my print course reserves digitally accessible? 

  • If you have print materials on course reserve that need selections digitized for virtual teaching, contact Becky Schleicher, Access Services Supervisor: Please, include a copy of the course syllabus with your detailed request.  Becky will work with you on a case-by-case basis to provide the selections you need to make accessible through your Moodle course site.    

How may we request and receive Instructional Services? 

  • One way that librarians deliver online instruction is through online Library Guides. These guides provide links to course-specific resources, additional course materials, and/or instructional information.  They can be linked directly to your Moodle course sites. If you have an interest in a guide for your course, please be in touch with your liaison
